Seven Deadly Sins – Tiki Designs

For this project my idea was to create tiki designs for the seven deadly sins. First started by sketching each one a few times and then decided on what ones I like best. From there I chose my three best and finalized them in Photoshop. At the end of all this, I took the three designs and put them together so that I could put them on a T-shirt.

Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park

This project is for advertising the Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park in California. I created my own design for the website and also a logo for the park. The images used are from the original website, but the rest of the design is my own. There are a few marketing pieces for the park and also a few advertisements like a billboard, bumper sticker, and animated web banners.

Using the logo I created, a hat design, a mug design, Metal water bottle design, and a T-shirt design. I also created a few signage pieces that could be used in the park. I also created a shopping bag design that would be used in the gift shop. The billboard design will be used by a highway nearby to direct people to the park. The website was also made to be responsive so that it would be able to be viewed easily on other mobile devices.

Retro Film Fest – Branding

Retro film fest celebrates film history. The fest has a new theme for each year, this years theme is awesome 80s. The medium of this project is web design, advertising, mobile app design, and Motion graphics. My objective for this project was to create something that had not been done before for a film festival and make it a unique concept that people would want to go to.

This project shows wayfinding, app design, web design, motion graphics, and advertising. For advertising there is a billboard, a poster, a Lamppost design, and an animated web banner. The motion graphic for this is something that would be used for in between panels to be displayed on the screens and is of the logo with an animated background.

Phone App

For this festival I created an app that would showcase all the information an event attendee would need to know about the event. There is a schedule and a way to connect to social media to share things about the event. The event tracks page gives you up to date information about when something starts at the event and how many spaces are still available.

Advertising

This is a lamppost design that would be hung on the side of a lamp post to advertise for the event.

This is a poster design that would be on a bus stop or other place to hang a poster to advertise for the event.

This is a billboard design that would be on a highway near Chicago advertising for the event.

Wayfinding

This is the registration sign that would direct people to wear to register for the event. This would be placed on an escalator.

This is the sign that will direct people to the main stage. This would be placed in the lobby outside the main stage.

This is a mock up of what the registration sign would look like when completed.

This is the sign to direct people to the VHS theater. It would be placed to the left of the door that the people have to enter.

Website

The website is laid out very similar to the app. It has all of the same information as the app but also has a detail section on the Celebrity guests coming to the event.

ChiMex Restaurant – Branding

ChiMex Restaurant is a restaurant that is a fusion of the Chinese and Mexican cultures. The interior of the restaurant will have decor from both cultures and some new pieces that fuse both cultures together.

The branding of this restaurant includes logo, advertising, menus, signage, loyalty card, take-out packaging, and website design. This was for a project at Full Sail University and was used to teach me the importance of branding and how to create everything for it.

Here is some of the signage that would be in the interior of the restaurant for people to know where to go to order their carryout and also where to pick it up.

This is the mascot of the restaurant. The design Is inspired by Chinese culture due to the gold and red coloring. It is also inspired by Mexican culture due to the drawing style. Because of that this dragon is a fusion of both cultures and really helps to represent the point of the restaurant.

This was a poster that would go on a Bus Stop Ad board. It gives a little bit of information on the restaurant to get people interested in going to this restaurant.

Here is the about page of the website that gives Information on what the restaurant is meant to do, which is to educate people on both cultures.

Here is the front of the loyalty card. This would be for repeat customers that would then get a free appetizer on their seventh visit.
