Wheelie90 – Branding

I have been working on designing a new logo and social media pieces for the Wheelie90 Youtube Channel to create a consistent style for their brand. Below is the original logo that they had.

Wheelie90 Youtube Channel – Original Logo

The new logo needed to have a futuristic feel but still incorporate the green color of the original logo. The new color scheme was chosen to be Green, White, and Blue.

For the Social Media cover photo, I really wanted to incorporate more texture into the design by using the hexagon shape that is present in the logo. I felt that the corners of the shape needed to be rounded to keep the futuristic style to them. This design below is the final version of the Facebook page cover photo.

As for the Youtube cover photo, because it is designed to change for different screen sizes I took the design from the Facebook page cover photo and expanded on it. The final design is below.

The new logo also needed to be turned into a motion graphic so that it could be used on the new videos. Here is the completed motion graphic of the logo.

Retro Film Fest – Branding

Retro film fest celebrates film history. The fest has a new theme for each year, this years theme is awesome 80s. The medium of this project is web design, advertising, mobile app design, and Motion graphics. My objective for this project was to create something that had not been done before for a film festival and make it a unique concept that people would want to go to.

This project shows wayfinding, app design, web design, motion graphics, and advertising. For advertising there is a billboard, a poster, a Lamppost design, and an animated web banner. The motion graphic for this is something that would be used for in between panels to be displayed on the screens and is of the logo with an animated background.

Phone App

For this festival I created an app that would showcase all the information an event attendee would need to know about the event. There is a schedule and a way to connect to social media to share things about the event. The event tracks page gives you up to date information about when something starts at the event and how many spaces are still available.

Advertising

This is a lamppost design that would be hung on the side of a lamp post to advertise for the event.

This is a poster design that would be on a bus stop or other place to hang a poster to advertise for the event.

This is a billboard design that would be on a highway near Chicago advertising for the event.

Wayfinding

This is the registration sign that would direct people to wear to register for the event. This would be placed on an escalator.

This is the sign that will direct people to the main stage. This would be placed in the lobby outside the main stage.

This is a mock up of what the registration sign would look like when completed.

This is the sign to direct people to the VHS theater. It would be placed to the left of the door that the people have to enter.

Website

The website is laid out very similar to the app. It has all of the same information as the app but also has a detail section on the Celebrity guests coming to the event.

Woodstock, Illinois Advertising Campaign

This is an advertising campaign I created for Woodstock, Illinois as a project while going to Full Sail University. My concept was to advertise for Woodstock, Illinois by getting people interested using the film history of the town.

In these advertisements, There are some illustrations of Orson Welles, And the movies “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” and “Groundhog Day”. The main advertisement for this is an animated advertisement that I had created all of the assets, except for the background music and sound effects.

The single color version of the logo for the advertising campaign. This is how I started working on the logo in order to get it laid out well.

This is an animated web banner that I created for the Woodstock, Illinois advertising campaign. It uses all of the assets previously from the lamp post designs and the billboard. Something added to this was the call to action button at the end that says “Learn More”.
